Melissa + Cody’s wedding

Melissa and Cody tied the knot, May 16th!! The rain forced everything inside, but they got it done and everything went so smoothly! I’m so glad I got to shoot their wedding…. Melissa is SUCH a sweetheart and she and Cody are ADORABLE together. They are such an amazing couple and I enjoyed getting to know them. I’ve been talking to Melissa about their wedding for almost a year now I believe. The planning process hadn’t begun but it was bound to happen sooner than later so we started discussing details! By the time they got around to setting a date, my calender was full! Luckily they were able to get everything done early and I squeezed them in. :) Melissa is so funny… she was SO excited about the pictures she planned pretty much EVERYTHING about her wedding around them! :) Here are a few of the faves from their wedding. The first look!!! I will never forget Cody’s first words… “DAD GUM!” Then he came out with a “You are BEAUTIFUL!” ;) Brownie points for Cody! APPARENTLY, (not meaning to) I must have threatened Cody about not turning around until MELISSA told him he could.. because for the FIRST time… when the bride says.. “OKAY, you can turn around..” The groom looked at ME and said, “Are you sure?” :) hehe.
