Even though this was my first time to meet Claudia, I feel like I’ve known her forever. She contacted me right after her son Christian was born. Christian was born exactly 1 week after Briley. They live out of town but have family in Paris so they come to visit often. She wanted to schedule something right before his 1st birthday. We had scheduled it for the week of Thanksgiving but when they came down the wind was so horrible that Claudia thought it would be better to reschedule. We did and the session was scheduled for the end of July. Of course we’ve been in a drought for HOW long.. and on the day of their session it was calling for RAIN! They were coming in to visit family anyway so we just crossed our fingers. It didn’t rain but because of the chance of rain we did have some AMAZING clouds.. which allowed me to get some really cool shots.

Claudia and I have talked back and forth through email for almost 2 years, comparing stories of the babies getting their shots, milestones, birthday parties and even talking about our “oldest children,” (our dachshunds.) :) Even though I’ve seen them in pictures it was nice to finally meet the sweet little family I’ve heard so much about for so long. They are a BEAUTIFUL family and Christian is amazing… even if he wanted NO part of having his picture made after the first 5 minutes. ;) Somehow we made it work. :D

Thank you Claudia for being so sweet and I’m so glad to finally have gotten to meet your little family. I can’t wait to keep up with how busy your going to be over the next year!! ;)
