A couple of months ago I got to meet this little bit of perfection. If you missed the sneak peek on Facebook, here is a little bit of her story:

I have known and photographed her mom, dad and brother for over 6 years now and I was so excited for them when I found out her mama was expecting identical twin girls. Sadly the girls developed Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome and at more than half way through her pregnancy, they lost baby Tinley and they were also warned that there was a chance Taytum would not survive. I cannot say enough about how amazingly strong this mama is. She is not just beautiful on the outside, but the inside as well. This whole family has shown more strength and courage than I can imagine and baby Taytum is going to fit right in as this girl is already a fighter. Born at 30wks and 2 days gestation and weighing only 3 lbs 1oz, she has thrived since she has come into this world. This 8 week old little premie was already up to 7 lbs and just as strong as any full term newborn I have had the pleasure of photographing. She isn’t just beautiful, she is strong and I think she is going to be a little firecracker. heart emoticon Taytum’s mama wanted to do some set-up’s during the newborn session to honor their angel baby, Tinley. It was an honor to capture this session for this family.
