Meet the amazing lady behind GirlsandCake, and guess what? She finally has a store front. I was so excited when I found out that she was making the move to having her own shoppe. Her work speaks for itself but that doesn’t mean I don’t have anything but wonderful things to say about her. She’s made several cakes for me and I’m always excited to see what she comes up with next. The new shoppe could not be any more perfect. It’s bright, colorful, fun, girly and it just completely shows her style. We had so much fun at the new shoppe.. and when I say “we,” I mean Briley and I. She got a strawberry cupcake, which she immediately devoured all of the icing off of. I am still just in awe of the transformation of the store and how amazing it looks. I cannot wait to see all the amazing things Candace comes up with and can’t wait to stop back in and have a cupcake!!

The shoppe is located at 102 Lamar Avenue (across from the Dollar Saver.) She is open Monday-Friday: 11:00am-5:30pm, Saturday: 10:00am-3:00pm and Sundays by appointment only. As well as taking custom orders for cakes and other desserts, she offers custom baking birthday parties for children. Children are able to decorate aprons, hats, bake their own cupcakes, and even decorate them. Drop by the shoppe one day and taste one of the 6 different flavors of cupcakes she offers each day. Flavors include: Va-va-vanilla, Chocolate Lovers, Xtreme Red Velvet, Strawberrylicious and 2 new flavors that vary each day. I also think she takes requests. ;)
