I had a lot of fun with this beautiful family. :) These are my type of family sessions. Drake and Cole kept me laughing pretty much the whole time and they are all incredibly sweet!

Cole is adorable!!! I thought he looked so much like the little boy off of the movie Jerry McGuire (with his spikey blonde hair and glasses.)

Handsome big brother Drake was SOO good and had lots of fun. :)

Drake likes bugs… or as he explained to me.. “reptilians.” I told Drake that I was in fact NOT a fan of “reptilians.”

This kid is awesome. He walked up to the tall grass and within 30 seconds spotted a blue dragonfly in the weeds. (I never saw it, even though he pointed it out to me several times.) Then he tapped them with his net and put them in his jar. He ended up catching 2!

He inspected them and then set them free!

This is his friend he brought to visit for the session. He was living in a starbucks cup. ;) When I asked him what his name was he looked at me like I was insane. Apparently naming them is more of a girl thing.

For the record this guy now has a new home. (His mom had him “release him back into the wild,” after we took some pictures. ;)

Cole likes guns. He was shooting at imaginary things we pointed out. ;)

I love this. ;) This picture is about as honest as family pictures come.

It was hot and Cole was just about done with family pictures.. but I can’t help but giggle at this. :)

But after a piece of cheese and some water he scrounged up a little more energy for a few more pictures. ;)
