HAPPY HALLOWEEN everyone! I took full advantage this year since this is most likely my last year to have a say-so in Briley’s Halloween costume.. and from them on I’m sure we’ll be Disney Princess-ed out for quite a while. :/ We are constantly having people tell us Briley looks like a little Shirley Temple. Back in July while we were camping in Arkansas, a lady from a few campsites over came up to me and Briley as we were walking down to the other camper to say she resembled her… so we were talking about it and Melissa said I should dress Briley up for Halloween as Shirley Temple. I couldn’t find a Shirley Temple-like dress that I liked, besides the Sailor dress. Although Shirley Temple actually wore a Sailor SUIT, I figured people would get the picture. ;) Our biggest dilemma with this costume? Keeping Briley from tearing open that lollipop!

It makes me sad to see how much she’s changed from her 1st Halloween and her 2nd Halloween.

PS.. I was letting Briley watch Shirley Temple videos on my phone one night and while I was blow drying my hair, Briley came running into the bathroom yelling, “MAMA, LOOK!!! LOOK!!” She showed me the screen and pointed to Shirley Temple. I said, “Yea! I see her!” and Briley said, “That is BRILEY!!” ;)
