Oranges, feathers and domestic violence

Sweet baby Kaymann will be here in just a few short weeks and this session was starting to seem like it wasn’t going to happen! Our first attempt.. got snowed out. Even though I love the way snow photographs in a session the roads were horrible and Navette and her husband, Cliff had a long drive to Paris.. plus is was absolutely FREEZING! THIS go around we weren’t able to carry out EVERYTHING we had planned because it was so muddy and nasty from all the snow and rain we’ve gotten. THEN we had a last minute surprise location change. THEN to top it off, during the last part of their session, the sheriff and a couple of sheriff’s deputies were called to come check on us. You could see us from the road and apparently someone had called in that a 2 woman were fighting with a man on the side of the road. The irony is… well… just check out the session and you’ll see. :)

Navette has craved oranges. :)

..the IRONY is that someone called in because they were afraid for the 2 women “fighting” with a man on the side of the road… PILLOW FIGHTING… and I’m standing to the side with a camera in front of my face.. the entire time. We were laughing hysterically the entire time so we never even noticed anyone drive by! I had just left and Navette and Cliff were changing and getting ready to leave as the sheriff showed up. So needless to say when Navette explained everything he found it VERY funny that someone honestly feared for the woman having a pillow fight in a field. :) We all got a good laugh out of it and something funny for Navette to put in the baby book. ;)
