Lindsey and Ricky’s wedding was one of those weddings that reminds me why I shoot weddings. I had so much fun spending the day with them and their families. They were so laid back and relaxed and just enjoyed the day. There was no stress, no drama… just family, friends and a lot of love. :) Yea, I know I sounded extremely cheesy right then. Oh well. I feel so blessed having been a part of it and to have been chosen as their wedding photographer. :)

Funny story about how they met… I already told Lindsey that I had to blog this story. :) Ricky saw Lindsey while she was at work and asked for her phone number. She blew him off… BUT she worked with her cousin Skylar.. and Skylar gave him Lindsey’s phone number anyway. He texted her to ask if he could take her to lunch one day. Lindsey (thinking she was texting Skylar) accidently sent a text to RICKY saying how she didn’t want to go to lunch with that weird boy… what should she do!?! After realizing the HORRIBLE mistake, she panicked. But before she could say anything else, Ricky text her back and said he was sorry and would leave her alone. Lindsey, feeling REALLY bad about what had happened, told him she would have lunch with him… and he still wanted to take her out.. so they had a date. They’ve been together ever since. :) Lindsey actually told me this story as she was riding with me to Mt. Pleasant to get ready for the first look. I got chill bumps… the boy she, at one time, didn’t even want to have lunch with… she was now one her way to marry. :) I had to blog this because I thought it was one of the cutest stories I’ve heard. ;)

They are such a beautiful couple. They will make pretty babies one day. Oh yes. I just said that. :)

I have been in love with with this VW van for a loonng time… so I was pumped when I found out we were getting to use it for pictures. :)

Right as we were finishing with the bus, it started pouring… so we ran into the Chapel and started taking wedding part pictures there during the storm.

After the ceremony the rain shopped and the light outside was AMAZING!!!!
