My sweet baby girl is 1 year old today. I still don’t believe it.

I always think back on the day we found out we were having a girl. Not a lot of people know this.. but.. I cried. I cried because I thought I didn’t want a girl. I wanted 3 boys. I was a tomboy and I didn’t know what I would do with a little girl. I had been calling that baby by the name we had picked out for him for months and now my doctor was telling me that I was having a little girl instead. So of course pregnancy hormones got the better of me and I cried all day long. Now I think back on that and I smile.. because she is the little girl that I never knew I wanted. God knew what we needed.. and this little rolie polie, curly headed, blue eyed, firecracker is it. He blessed us with an amazing, smart, funny, beautiful little girl and allowed us to be her parents. :) I cannot imagine our lives any different than they are right now. We are so blessed. We love you little bear.
