Emily + Antonio’s vintage camping engagement session

So Emily and I began throwing around ideas for she and Antonio’s engagement session several months ago. But no location we could think about really stood out for their style and personalities. Then about a month ago Emily came up an a fabulous idea. Antonio loves to camp, but Emily told me that he doesn’t get the opportunity to go as often as he would like anymore because he hates leaving her behind. SO she thought, why now incorporate her love of vintage, “pretty things” and Antonio’s love of camping! ;) She told me her ideas, and I fell in love. So then Emily set out to construct the perfect TENT for their camp out session… and who better to BUILD that, than the camping expert himself? But Emily wanted to keep it a secret… SO she asked Antonio to build tent frame for her nephews. Antonio happily agreed and the plan was set! We were so anxious about Antonio finding out.. but he never suspected a thing! It went so well that Emily even emailed me a picture of them all working on it!! :) Emily did such an amazing job pulling everything together that I only ended up bringing a couple of things to use. They are such a fun couple and I cannot WAIT for their Puerto Vallarta wedding this June!!! :D

Scout (aka the “wild pony”) wasn’t actually so wild.. in fact we had to keep shoeing him off so he wouldn’t eat the cookies. ;)

Their 1 request… “awkward prom picture.”
