Candice and Jay were married in a beautiful ceremony last month at the home of Jay’s parents. They transformed the already beautiful backyard into a gorgeous ceremony and reception site. I remember Candice being concerned about it being too hot and humid for everyone, when they were deciding on the date. Little did we know their wedding day marked a new record for the coldest temps this late into Spring! It was absolutely freezing! BUT it was still a beautiful day and Candice looked absolutely phenomenal! The wedding party was so much fun and the day went off without a hitch! They had such an amazing turnout and were surrounded but everyone who loved them, all day!

As we were about to pull into Jay’s parents home Candice brought up how ironic it was that I was driving her to her wedding.. because over 10 years ago.. I was driving Candice to high school every day. It felt so surreal that it had actually been that long. Love this sweet girl and could not be more happy for the two of them. I only met Jay just a few months ago at their engagement session, but he is the perfect fit for her and I know they will have an incredibly happy and wonderful live together. Congratulations again you guys and thank you for including me in your day!

A few things I want to point out…

#1… this is an enormous post. Too many favorites. Sorry for slow loading!
#2… toward the end of the post you might notice some large photos from their engagement session. Yes.. those are actually LARGER than life size photos they had blown up. I was just a big giddy when I saw them. :)
#3… and yes.. that would be the grooms uncle who surprised Candice by laying a big kiss on her in the middle of a group shot with all the firemen! Haha!!
