Blog love & my second favorite thing to do…
Through the “wonders of technology,” I’m able to see not only how many hits my websites and blog get… but just where those hits are coming from! It also remembers each computers ip address.. and only counts each ip address once a day meaning every hit is a different individual! :) I check it ever now and then.. and am always amazed at how the numbers are growing each time. I’m now officially up to 3000 hits a month on the blog!! :) It’s also awesome to see that I’m getting atleast 20 hits a month from INDIA.. 13 from Germany.. 9 from the UK!! haha.
Here is a screen shot of hits this month in the US.
Here is a screen shot of just Texas. Each dot is a location where my blog has been viewed in the last month.
I have to say that the quicker we get the new house built and moved in the better, because I ran out of room a long time ago. My second favorite thing… besides photography is “junkin!” I love to find old furniture and rusty pieces of “junk,” and turn it into art! :) I’ve always loved crafts and I officially took over our garage a long time ago, against B’s wishes. :) I turned it into my very own little workshop. A lot of clients have been asking about all the colored chairs and crazy props.. those are all chairs I’ve redone and your welcome to use any of them for your session!! Yes.. our garage is filled with brightly painted chairs and suitcases as well as many things. This being the slower time of the year, just means that my crafting side gets to break free! I’ve been busily working on furniture for the new studio and office…. covering everything I can find in vintage bottle caps, rhinestones, license plates and anything rusty or sparkly. :) Here are a few things that I actually bought though.. I have big plans for those picture frames. :)
I also got a few more things that aren’t pictured… thanks to my bride, Dusty, I now have a turquoise and zebra print bench.. which I know will get a lot of use! :) OH and how could I forget… I should be getting a truck very soon…. very rusty and very awsome.. and my WONDERFUL grandmother in law gave me an antique gas gump which I have been flipping out over! :D I’ve got big plans… I can’t wait until spring! Time for some WARM weather!!!
P.S… to the loyal blog stalkers.. ;) heres a contest to see who reads the blog the MOST… from now until Feb 28th… I will keep a record of everyone who posts a comment on the blog. The person who posts the MOST comments will receive a $50 gift certificate!!! :) The certificate is good toward a session fee, prints or any products. Good luck!
