Ashley + Brea

This was one of my favorite e-session EVER!!! I had so much fun! Ashley is from Pittsburg.. (where I used to live.) I officially met her when she was in Haley and Ryan’s wedding last year. When she emailed me to tell me she was engaged, I was so excited. THEN when she told me she wanted her pictures to be anything but traditional I KNEW we were going to get along VERY well! :) I have to tell you how they met, because I think it’s such a sweet story. Brea is from Ft. Worth and Ashley is from Pittsburg. They first met at Hurricane Harbor, where Brea was working one of the rides! From what I understood… Brea tried to “pick up” Ashley after she got off of his ride.. but she politely.. “blew him off!” ;) lol. But after realizing she lost her shoe, she had to go back to the ride (and Brea) to find it! (IT’S LIKE CINDERELLA!!!) One thing led to another and they became friends and talked on and off…. I believe it was almost a year later that they officially began dating and now here they are!!!! :)

They are such a sweet couple and I loved hanging out with them.. and their son, DENVER!! ;) Let me start by saying that this is the SMARTEST DOG IN THE WORLD! (Aside from Opossum of course! hehe) He could be in movies. Brea taught him everything he knows. It’s crazy how smart this dog is. Brea showed me like 15 tricks in a row and never said a word! Denver knew what to do ONLY by Brea snapping his fingers and making hand motions! My jaw dropped. If I thought I could have gotten away with it, I would have taken him home with me.. but I’m pretty sure they would have noticed! ;)

When Ashley and I were talking about locations for their session I mentioned maybe considering the zoo! I have always wanted to shoot an e-session at the zoo and I thought that they would be the perfect couple. Ashley loved the idea but wanted to run it by Brea. Brea said, definitely! The night before their session I felt like I was a kid again.. it felt like the night before a big field trip in school. I’m sure you remember that feeling. :) I was SUPER excited. We had SO much fun. I have SO much to say about this session but honestly.. you don’t have the time to sit here and listen to me ramble. You wanna see pictures! So here are a few of my favorites!!! :)

Some of what we saw while at the zoo! :) (The warthogs at the bottom right.. thats a funny story…) We were watching them they looked like they were nuzzling each other. I said.. “AWWW, look! They are loving on each other.” The second I said that, one of them attacked the other. It was hilarious.
