Awhile back I started talking to Mary Musick about doing a painting for us. I wanted something of Briley that we could cherish forever and that her children and their children would cherish as well. I sent Mary a camera phone picture (Yes, of all the images I’ve taken of Briley in her 3 years, I sent her a camera phone picture.) ;) This was one morning on the way to gymnastics. Briley was hanging off the bench on the front porch. She has a huge smile on her face and every time I look at the picture I hear her laughing all over again. This week Mary delivered the painting and we are in love! She did an AMAZING job of capturing her little personality. I get the same feeling looking at this painting that I do when I look at that snap shot of her.

These are just camera phone pictures of the painting. I took these after we hung it. They don’t do it justice. This is a wall just as you walk into our living room. I’ve never really done anything with it and have been wanting to re do it. I have some things I’ve been wanting to put up so now that I have the main piece I can finish it. I’ll post better pictures whenever I get it all finished. For now I just wanted to share Mary’s beautiful work.
