Mackenzie
I LOVED this senior session.. not only because Mackenzie ROCKS as a subject/model.. but because she is a long lost friend… literally! Kenzie, her older sister Haylee and I grew up together. Our mom’s were best friends when we were younger and I spent many a summer swimming and putting together “routines” to spice girls songs, at the gym their parents owned in the next town over. Ofcourse I remember Kenzie when she was 8! Well fast forward 10 years and here I am taking her senior pictures! Yea, I couldn’t believe it either. I don’t even feel like she should be old enough to drive, let alone be graduating from high school!
Well, both of our families moved and we lost touch over the years. But it was amazing to be able to get together with them for the afternoon and catch up while taking some real cool shots. We started out at her grandparents house where she grew up playing on the hay bales and around the house. Then we moved to downtown to get some more vintage type shots, which is what Kenzie really loves.
I love it when a client is up for just about anything that I throw at them.. but Mackenzie takes the cake! This girl even cleared a fence to get a shot… and it was HER idea! That was definatley a first! It was SO much fun! OH and did I mention that this girl CAN’T take a bad picture?
Here are few of my favorites from the session… :)
HAHAHA… this looks like a scene out of cops!
She has the prettiest eyes, EVER!
One of my top favorites!
This is our awesome dumpster couch.
