So one afternoon several months ago, Briley asked me if I would let her be a mermaid and live in our pond. Then she asked again…. every day for a week. She has been obsessed with Ariel and mermaids since I can remember and always pretended to be one around the house, in the pool or in the tub. But this was the most persistent she was about actually making it happen. So that night I started thinking about how I could make that come true for her. Not only was I incredibly excited about Briley getting to do this.. but I had decided to make a mini session concept out of it. This is right up my alley and I’m always looking for something new. Mermaids were definitely different and this was very much my style. I was looking forward to all the little girls getting to dress up and be mermaids for their sessions. They all looked beautiful and I think they all had a pretty fun time. :)

I’ve also had a ton of inquires about these sessions since posting the sneak peeks. I WILL be doing this again, but since I’m booked through the end of the year, it will have to be next Summer! Like the Unicorns, I think this is probably going to be an annual thing. :)
