1st Dr. Appt!
Today I heard the heartbeat. IT WAS AWESOME! So, I’m not crazy and there IS something in there. We saw it too.. buuttt it’s not much to look at yet.. it’s upgraded from sea monkey to lizard… at least thats what it looks like to me! Someone even said it looked like a mouse or an alligator.. haha… so at this point it looks like some sort of sea creature/reptile/vermin. That sounds bad… but it is what it is.. it WILL look more human soon. :) I just look forward to finding out the sex… I don’t look forward to the 3d sonogram because honestly… they scare me.. people say… “Ohhh.. look how BEAUTIFUL he/she is!” No… it looks like an alien.. it’s scary. Anyone with me on this?

Ashley - Yes – a 3D definitely looks alien-ish.. or at least a MONKEY! :) People are like oh look he/she has your nose! I’d be offended… lol
Jessica Hall - Yes. Sonogram baby always looks like an evil creature from the planet Wok Wok. My favorite is people that say all babies are cute. No. Some people have ugly babies, it’s just a fact of life. It happens so other babies can feel better about themselves. Duh.
PS: Yours looks totally like an alligator, or a chameleon.
Shannon - ohhh i remember the first sonogram of makenna! its an amazing feeling isnt it? the sonograms dont do the baby justice because one of the last ones i had made her look like she had a huge nose..i cried for almost a whole week cause i was terrified that my baby girl would have a huge clown like nose..but she turned out normal hahaaa..so i understand your fear of the 3d sono..but no worries…trust me!!

Jan Marie - That’s our grandbaby!!!! It’s only justice that your first photo would be black and white. Your mama loves them! You are loved little one. I can’t wait to put you in a little sailor suit.
shelly hoover - oh tara do i have a story for you. when i got the picture from my 3d sono i guess blake moved while they were taking it or something because he looked like he had one REALLY BIG eye and one tiny one.. i was freaked out the rest of the pregnancy even tho the dr.s told me it was nothing to worry about. my mom said the first thing i said when blake came out was “IS HIS EYE OKAY?!?!” so just you wait!! congrats again.. i think “sea lizard” (or alligator i think) will be beautiful!

Jill - I have a true alien photo… it was Austin’s …. and finding out the sex with Sadie was weird becuase it was your pregnant and its a girl all at once… but on the 3D if you scan them and change the colors on them you take away from the alienation….. happy pregnancy the fun has yet to begin ….
